Choosing the right cleaning method for textile floor coverings is both a technical and economic decision: In particular, the quality of the carpet, the installation method, the subfloor construction, the frequency of use, and—last but not least—the level of soiling determine which cleaning method will help preserve the carpet’s value over the long term.

ROLL
Wall-to-wall Carpet installed on water-sensitive flooring, adhesive, and/or subfloor systems
(including, but not limited to, raised floors, cavity floors, and climate-controlled floors) including underlayments and their joints, particularly in the case of water- or moisture-retaining underlayments (e.g., felt or foam underlayments) and/or when a drying period of at least 12 hours without foot traffic is not possible
Modular systems (TILES, PANELS, PLANKS, etc.)
Modular systems on water-sensitive flooring, adhesive, and/or subfloor structures
(including, but not limited to, raised floors, cavity floors, and climate-controlled floors) including underlayments and their joints, particularly in the case of water- or moisture-retaining underlayments (e.g., felt or foam underlayments) and/or if a drying period of at least 12 hours without foot traffic is not possible!
